The Development

The Sharella Studios project involved the refurbishment and complete re-strengthening of the prominent site at 20 Glenmore Street opposite the Wellington Botanic Gardens.

The first stage of this development included the construction of  the three upper-levels that house sixty six retro styled, quality, refurbished studios and then stage two – which VERY near completion- will consist of more studio apartments as well as two and four bedroom apartments on the lower levels.  Once completed this complex will provide quality, stylish accommodation for the Wellington city area.

The Site

The located at 20 Glenmore Street in Thorndon, Wellington. The site is in a prominent and well-judged location in the Thorndon Historical Precinct. It is minutes away from the corporate centre located around The Terrace, campuses of Victoria University and other tertiary education providers, Te Papa, waterfront, entertainment, shopping and business centres, government agencies, the beehive and government offices.
